HELP TO RAISE HAITI FROM THE ASHES

“Hi everybody my name is Sarah of Phoenix Ki, some of you may already know me. I am planning to organise a Mind, Body and Spirit Event in aid of Haiti.

I am asking any therapists/healers/anyone who has time to help to please contact me if you can offer your time on the Saturday 12th March. I am thinking of charging £5 entrance and asking therapists to offer taster sessions of their chosen therapy, ALL proceeds will go to this fund. I think all will benefit from giving to this cause and also I am sure you will also get people making appointments on the day to see you in the future!!!

Dear All,

I’m passionate about energy healing in all its forms especially when it can create a bridge to our soul, our highest and truest self. Sharing the practice and teachings of Reiki is part of that passion.

The passion arose because I realised that we can grow from it and with it. It can be used for our own personal development/healing and something we can share with our families, friends, in the workplace, in our communities and with our world and beyond.

I was drawn to energy healing whilst living in the Findhorn Community in Scotland. It didn’t have the name Reiki attached to it then. There were many forms of healing which I came into contact with and the one I started to use, initially on myself, came intuitively to me. I guess you might describe it as the power of intention and accompanying that I used another power ‘tool’ called visualisation.

Later, after leaving the community and a period of time living in Croatia I returned to my homeland and was drawn to Reiki. Even before I was attuned to Reiki I, I knew I would become a Reiki Master and teach others about energy healing, and spiritual development and community. Accessing Energy Healing was the trigger that reminded me of my purpose for being here. Maybe not in a clear end result sort of way, but more an abstract sense, a feeling, a knowingness which was also tinged with excitement of what I didn’t really, really know and yet I did too. But it was mostly knowingness without words at first. But slowly, bit by bit, when I made enquiries, a part of the answer would be given to me. I felt I was being lead, albeit willingly, on a journey of self discovery, healing and acceptance. I was also building a bridge to my ‘soul’, higher-self and of course the Oneness which has many names.

So in 2006 I became a Reiki Master/Teacher and it’s been my privilege and joy to introduce people to Reiki both as a practitioner and teacher. To be able to help people access their inner peace, joy, well-beingness and aid them to release blocks, old wounds, habits and behaviours and embrace new ones that serve their purpose gives me as much joy as my own unfoldment and growth. Reiki is one of the ‘tools’ I introduce to people who are willing to live and work with purpose and create a bridge for their soul to work through.

Creating UNITY within ourselves opens up the bridge to our higher self, the angels & oneness and aids all our relationships and wellbeing. Communing Unity and creating Community are additional passions of mine and it’s why I’m delighted to be working with my friend Teresa Sherlock in March 2010 to bring you a workshop on Angels & Reiki – A bridge to your soul.

Treatments and Courses are available to Adults, Children & Young People. Regular Reiki Groups are run to help you share your experiences about Reiki and Spiritual Development. It is intended that in the near future a monthly Saturday Morning Club or After-School Club for Young People will commence so that they too can share their Reiki experiences.
