There are changes afoot with the format of the bi-monthly IVS enewsletter starting with this issue.  And I believe it is in how we embrace and work with these changes that are a testament to the true nature of Inspirational Voices and indeed each one of us.

I’ve included a copy of the recent letter I sent out to all the wonderful people who have offered their articles and forthcoming events through the IVS enewsletter over the years to bring you up-to-date. I’m also including some news on how I intend to continue informing you of our: Collaborative Events, Magic Café Guest Speakers, Calendar of Events, and links to our existing and newly joined Associates so you can catch up with what they are offering.   Following on from that there is a brief insight into Change and the Creative Process

Dear Friends and Colleagues

Changes afoot. I wanted to give you some advance information which I will be sharing with the subscribers of the IVS (Inspirational Voices) enewsletter towards the end of next month.

But firstly Thank You. I wanted to say that it has been an absolute pleasure to be able to share your news, gifts, talents and passions with those on our mailing list over the past two and a half years.  Thank you so much for being either regular or one-off contributors to this enewsletter.  I personally have enjoyed receiving your articles, calendar of events and individual and collaborative work and sharing it with like-minded folk in our every increasing community.  It’s been a privilege to get to know you and your work which has been rich in its diversity.

However, my time was  only one part of this project...........another important role was played by the IVS  webmaster  Rich Brown of Zealo who was a student when we first met and working from his parents home.    Last year Rich was able to set up his own offices due to the demand on the services he offers.  This being the case he needed to take a reality check on supporting his new business and the added value he has been offering us all on top of the contract fee we had negotiated for the work.   I’m very grateful to Rich for that and totally support his next steps including his new price structuring.

Over the last two and a half years the fee paid to Rich has been supported by extra funds raised through the Magic Cafe entrance fee and the raffles we organised.  And again you have supported that be either coming along to our events as a speaker/contributor or on a social visit.

So what does this mean for the future of the enewsletter? In order to carry on working with Rich IVS will need to streamline its enewsletter considerably.   We will be able to feature; forthcoming events at the Magic Cafe, collaborative work that usually appears in our calendar of events and there will also be a link to our Associates & Links Page for those of you who appear there.   However, this will mean that I will no longer be able to accept and include articles or information from you at the current time.  I wasn’t able to put this into the last enewsletter as I only received the information from Rich post that work.  I believe in right timing and that there is always a blessing in each situation so I’m waiting to see what unfolds for all of us.

Hopes. I hope that during the last two and half years, having been able to share your work with a wider community and attract people to you has served you because it certainly has served me.   Hopefully by now some of the IVS subscribers will have become members of your own mailing lists, visitors to your websites,  advertise in your hard copy publications/internet advertising sites and have been attracted to the events/work you offer..........or maybe told their friends who have in turn have told their friends.   I know too that something new will now arrive to support our ever growing community and I look forward its unfoldment.

In the meantime. Your information will still available within the IVS Past Newsletters which will continue to be available on the newsletter page of www.inspirationavloicesswansea.co.uk in case people want to connect with you.   Again for those of you who are Associates your details will remain on that page of our site.  And please rest assured that if I’m contacted by folk wishing to connect with you then it will be my pleasure to pass on those details.  As I said at the beginning of this communication in the March edition of the IVS enewsletter I will share this news with our wider community and indicate ways of staying in touch and sharing your information.

For those of you without websites then there are many opportunities out there, some fairly inexpensive that might serve you; for those wanting to advertise on-line then Sacred Swan (http://sacredswan.ning.com/) and Energies in Action (www.energiesinaction.co.uk) are a couple of possibilities you may wish to consider and for hardcopy advertising then there is the Labyrinth (www.labyrinthmagazine.co.uk) & Aura (www.aura-publications.co.uk  )to name just two.

The Magic Cafe – will continue to offer our networking table and Community Sounding Board for those who want to come along and share their work which I appreciate is more accessible to some of you than others.  For those of you further away from Swansea maybe there is something similar near you...........or waiting to be started.

So as you will have gleamed from the above we are still planning to offer you a bi-monthly enewsletter which will include:

• An opening inspirational article
• A signpost/link to any new and upcoming work that I’m engaged in, either personally on in collaboration with others in order to keep you abreast of what is happening around the region.
• A regular feature of forthcoming events at the Magic Café including links to the Speakers website
• A link to our Associates Page to that you can keep in touch with those whom you wish to maintain contact with.   New Associates are always welcome and contact with me will start the process.   This month we welcome Faith Challinor-Wheatley as our newest Associate.

Change is constant and for me it is how we embrace that when we meet it face-to-face that is the lesson.   It is always the journey rather than the landing which can offer us the greatest insights.   We can choose to be open, to surrender to our highest self and ask what may serve the greatest good of all right now with what is unfolding before us.    Creative and intuitive impulses are then welcomed and can flow through us.  Of course we are not always as awake as that.   Sometimes we will take a situation personally, go into victim mode or even step into the aggressor.  In doing so we might block what needs to happen next or see it as a blessing or the answer to a prayer in the process of its unfoldment.   For me when the news came from Richard it felt right- even though I didn’t instantly have the solution to what might happen next.   What I did feel straight away was that there was going to be a new way that IVS could play its part in the community.  It was at this stage of acceptance that I started to see new doors opening for us. Obviously the change in format of the IVS enewsletter is the first step and interestingly more opportunities are currently presenting themselves so I’m happy to let them unfold and share with you in Divine timing.  Maybe you are part of these new opportunities!!!!

At the start of this process I was reminded of the wisdom of Archangel Uriel, who can be visualised holding a lantern, saying “You Know What to Do”.   I work with the Angels cards, amongst other oracles and a vision of his card came to me.  For me it is always an invitation to trust your own inner wisdom, albeit that you may only be able to see one step ahead of you at a time.  To have faith in who you really are and be the person you were born to be.   And as I received this insight I felt it was also something that many of us may wish to be mindful of.   A time for those who are awakening and healing from their wounded selves to begin to trust the changes that are taking place and the part they are here to play.   A time to walk your talk.    Until next time………….may Uriel light your way.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Jaynie and Sarah for organising another wonderful Natural Living Show at the beginning of March and to all those who came along to my talk on Forgiveness and told me how much it had helped them, especially as due to Divine timing issues on the day it was reduced to a 20minute offering.  I couldn’t have believed that it could have worked so well for all of us and so glad that some of you are able to make the May workshop I’m offering or have chosen to do some deeper 1:1 work with me on healing that part of their journey.   Apologies to those of you who weren’t there, going on like this, but I guess you might have worked out that apart from the Awakening of the Truest Self then Forgiveness as a stepping stone to Acceptance and Surrender is something else that I’m really enthusiastic at working with.   It was an absolute privilege to work with so many of you who wanted to connect with your deeper selves and the Angels over that weekend too and for more opportunities you can connect with me bi-monthly at the Magic Market Place in Swansea City Centre, on 2^nd Thursdays of the month in Brynmill and off course at the next NLS in October.   Also many thanks for all the wonderful feedback on my book Awakening the True Self.

On Sunday 22^nd May, I along with Steve Phillips of Raise Your Vibe & Jim Fox of Labyrinth Magazine (plus an as yet an unnamed speaker) will be inspiring you with a one day seminar on Walk Your Talk.    We are all really excited about the day and would love as many of you as possible to take up our Early Bird discount booking fee of £35 for bookings paid for before 1^st April,   For more information about these events and much, much more check out the pages of this website and additional links found there and contact me to book your place.
