Dear All,
The art of allowing and being willing, are great forces which help keep us in the flow of the Divine. Inspirational thoughts and their eventual manifestation stem from this very centre.
Try this out. “I am willing to allow (fill in this gap for yourself) to be a possibility”.
How much more liberating does that feel compared with “I would but…….”, “I will when………..” or “someone (again fill in the gap for yourself) told me that I wouldn’t be able to achieve (fill in the gap) because (fill in the gap). Then ask yourself is that really true? Is it really, really true in this present moment, in the NOW? Because, in the NOW when you let everything fall away and connect with your inner creator you realise that YOU ARE EVERYTHING. When you are connected to the Divine resources you have within and without of you and you let the excuses fall away, there is a willingness to allow. Some might call it Spirit, Oneness, Divine, Beloved, Inspiration, Creator, Love, True Self or many, many other names. Whatever ‘it’ is, the invitation is to be willing to create time for yourself, to re-connect with the inspiration that will release you from the confined prison of your ego and allow Spirit through, allowing the manifestation of your true essence. Who you truly are. For some it may appear as if it is a giant leap or for others it may appear as simply stepping stones.
Being willing to allow, helps us cut the through resistance and procrastination, both of which are forms of fear. It’s our ego’s job to keep us small yet when our ego manifests as resistance, I truly invite you to ask it to move aside and let your true self through. And if it doesn’t then engage your Divine Will and tell it YOU ARE COMING THROUGH. What I’m saying is ‘to go for it’ but don’t be attached to it; whatever the ‘it’ is.
Of course it is helpful, if we are willing to allow the release of old emotional habits such as a sense of; humiliation, rejection, lack of self worth, abandonment, aloofness, jealousy, disdain. It might be helpful to invite in the need to be willing to allow ourselves to take responsibility for our own journey and to release blaming others or using them as an excuse for not being or doing something. We might also need to be willing to re-frame our thinking especially with regards to the stories we have told ourselves and the fears we have created. We may also need to be willing to speak our truth, as we know it, and let others be willing to take responsibility for their own emotions and thoughts. When we speak this truth from within our inspirational centre, which is non-judgmental and compassionate, and we own what we are saying, then usually the information we share is received from the same place. Interestingly, when we do so, what we have previously feared might have been the reaction or consequence, was in fact only present in our false-self. When we are willing to speak our truth, it gives permission for others to speak theirs too. That’s when miracles happen. The illusional world we were part of dissolves before our very eyes and we see anew.
Rumi says ‘The Garden of the World’ has no limits, except in your mind’. Sometimes we try to limit ourselves through our mind, through our fears. It has often been said that we are most fearful of being powerful beyond measure. We might have had interactions with power over which has left us with debilitating stories and our false-self will have grown through those fears. But we don’t have to continue to live in the wounds which those stories have created, other than if we choose to. We can be willing to release them and reclaim our authentic Divine power and will. Taking time and being willing to allow our higher-self, soul, creator to shine through with thoughts and words of inspiration lets our true-self play the game. Yet I’m sure I’m not alone, when I think of a thousand excuses such as I could be, I should be, I don’t have time to do this start to take a hold . The only way I can find time is to take it. What should be a greater calling than getting to reacquaint oneself to the beautiful inspirational being that I AM, YOU ARE, WE ARE.
From this issue, the IVS enewsletter is going bi-monthly so don’t think you have been deleted from our mailing list when you don’t receive a copy at the end of August. The next issue (October/November) will be coming into your inbox during the last week of Sept and we will continue this rhythm throughout the year and into 2011 on this bi-monthly basis. This is why we are sharing events with you a little bit more in advance than usual. So if you see something you want to join in with put a note in your diary or even better get in touch and express your interest and people will then get back in touch with you nearer the time.
To all of you inspirational beings out there please feel free to continue sharing your inspirational stories and gifts through this free community enewsletter. Coming together with inspirational people inspires us to be more connected to the Divine Inspiration within ourselves. Remember 1+1 = a Greater 1 and 40+40 = a Greater 1.
