Miracles happen when you believe...
(and even when you don’t)
Miracles happen when you believe. This phrase has constantly presented itself to me over the last few years. Running sometimes silently and at other times in flashing neon lights in front of my eyes. When I receive a message like that I imagine it is a wave of energy which is open to all to receive. Yet we may not be tuned in, we might be listening to a different channel or even be switched off. Eight years ago I used a visualisation technique to see what my higher-self wanted to show me. It took me down a corridor where there were seven doors and one in particular caught my eye. And this month a major milestone on the journey has been reached and I’m happy to share that with you. What I saw through that door has become a reality.
When I walked through the door during my visualisation I saw myself speaking to a large group of people and we all seemed relaxed and interested in what was taking place. I was interested to know what I might be talking about. As my eyes scanned down my arm I saw that my right hand was on a book. Wondering what the book was about I was shown myself picking it up and referring to it. Even though I was unable to see any details on the cover I knew without a doubt that I had written the book. It felt good. I wasn’t sensing it as a possibility I was experiencing it as a reality. Something I felt very comfortable about.
Once I had returned from the visualisation my mind kicked in and reminded me of my schooldays. Early on in High School I had stopped writing because it seemed to me that my written work was not understood or appreciated. It would be after that visualisation exercise and after leaving my job in IT that I went to study at Ruskin College in Oxford. And during the first week it was discovered that I was dyslexic.
It was Women’s Studies which drew me to Ruskin. That was the bait. However when I got there it was Creative Writing that sang to me and I was hooked.
By May 2006 I had written my book and in the middle of April 2009 it was published and available on line through Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com in the USA.
On Saturday 23 May 2009 my book will be launched in Borders at Fforestfach, Swansea. So, if you are in the area why not pop in and have a chat. Dreams do become realities and miracles do happen.
So what can this mean for you and your journey? You of course hold that answer inside of you. Sometimes spending some time in silence with ourselves can help us find insights, sometimes it’s a prayer or even a thought that we hardly realised we had expressed. Sometimes its the right person or situation arriving at the right time. However, from my own experience, when I ask for guidance I know it is always answered.
The how and the when...........well for my part that’s my opportunity to work with patience and surrendering.
So Blessings on your dreams and on your continual awakening. May the masks fall from you with grace and may you work through your fears with insights, stepping into and standing in your own power - into the freedom you came to embrace. It is from this place that your gift to yourself and to the world will reveal itself to you.
