Dear All
I certainly have a sense of an amazing opportunity presenting itself whether that be personal, family, community or planetary at this present time. Having recently been privileged to be working with some wonderfully inspirational people, both home grown and international I have this sense of a richness of spirit which I believe will sustain us as we look out through our, as yet, unhealed eyes.
An inner richness, imagine a chocolate fountain, which I am dreaming will sustain us through the troughs and swells of forthcoming experiences, dramas & karma. Some of which will be old yet either resurfacing or surfacing for the first time. Yet if we allow ourselves to THINK BEAUTY, SEE WONDERMENT & FEEL AMAZEMENT and treat everything as sacred then we may meet these experiences from a different place. We ordered them, set them up and invited them to play out in our lives for the opportunity to enrich our soul’s evolution. Instead of slamming the door in horror, how might it be if we left the door ajar, put down a welcome mat and treated the experience as an old friend who had come bearing beautiful gifts we were yet to appreciate. So when next you feel like slamming the door shut why not try thinking beauty and seeing if the wonderment and amazement follow through. Allowing our higher self, our high mind to play the game is a gift to our soul.
Often the new year, which for each of us can come at varying times, is a time for gathering ourselves in, digesting and contemplating, releasing the old and making way for the new. In anticipation of this I’m happy to be offering two new mini-workshops in 2010. The first is an opportunity to consider YOUR PURPOSE FOR BEING HERE and to dream into this from a soul’s perspective. So maybe you would like to join me in freeing some time for yourself to connect with that higher sense of who you are. To enquire of your soul its purpose for being here and look at what aspects of you, can assist that and which patterns of behaviour are holding you back? I will be offering this 4-hour introductory workshop on Saturday 9 January 2010. The second event, on Saturday 27th February 2010, has come about through people talking to me about two things; first their yearning to find time to write, and secondly having a sense of a creative block. Having recently had my own book Awakening The True Self published I feel I have some experience I can share with those on the path who want to allow an expression of their selves to come through in this form. I’ve put together an outline for an event called WRITING FOR THE SOUL. This introductory 4-hour workshop is open to anyone who has a yearning to allow their creativity to express itself through the written word. During the course of this workshop we will; quieten the mind; release ourselves from distractions, unblock forms of resistance & let our heart & soul speak to us. There is no requirement to have previous experience of writing or to share your work in the group although there is an invitation for those who do. I know from my own life that I am now experiencing many insights that came through in my journaling, poetry and articles. Numbers are limited so expressions of interest are invited. There will also be an opportunity to carry on this work at regular intervals if this serves those who come along to either o these events.
I also take this opportunity to remind you that this is a combined December 2009/January 2010 issue so your email boxes will get a holiday at the end of December as well as me.
