TRANSITION TOWN SWANSEA

UPDATE

Following a recent public meeting at the Dylan Thomas Centre, Swansea a steering group was set up and various other groups are emerging.

Unfortunately before going to press I hadn’t received confirmation from those group contacts that there information could be included in this enewsletter so I suggest you watch this space for further information or go to http://www.environmentcentre.org.uk/ttswan/index.htm.

There is a lot of magical work going on throughout Wales under the banner of transition. Whether that is in towns, communities or organizations. Many wonderful schemes such as LETS, (For anyone who doesn't know, LETS is a sophisticated barter system which enables members to trade goods and services outside financial system), courses, events and experience. Why struggle with new concepts and ideas when there are those who are only to willing toshare their experience with us.
